Each Liv Doll comes with their own story and personality. Sophie is a gifted hairdresser, and one day hopes to be a stylist for the stars. Among her friends, she’s regarded as a kind and understanding person, and above all, a good listener. She’s not afraid to experiment with new hairstyles (hence her wild, pink-streaked wig).
Sophie comes dressed in a chic, urban outfit that suits her profession as a hairstylist. She’s wearing a denim jacket, which complements her graphic tee and pink plaid skirt. Her outfit includes impressive details: from the seams of her shirt to her belt buckle, it is evident that a lot of effort was put into her design.

My almost seven year old daughter wanted this doll very badly. She was so excited to see it at Target and not have to order over the internet. She waited patiently for the grand opening of the LivWorld website to log on and play games. Within 15 minutes, she said the website was “lame” and she hasn’t gone back. She still plays with the doll just like any other Barbie, but was definitely disappointed about the website.

My daughter could not wait to get this doll to add to her collection. The doll itself is nice by the usual Barbie type doll standards, pretty and flexible so they can be posed in different ways. Clothing and accessories are age appropriate and she has been playing with it since receiving it. My disappointment is with the on line feature. One of the appeals of this doll for my daughter was the ability to visit the on line world. After multiple tries it has been impossible get her set up on the Liv World web site with the code they gave us. Emailed the company to see if they can help us and so far no response.

My daughter just received this doll yesterday for her 7th birthday & it is a huge hit! She has already had me return a duplicate Barbie doll that she got to get another LIV doll in place of it. She especially loves to play with the hair. I bought her some of the wash out hair color gels for her to play with it as well. The hair is so soft & silky compared to barbie & all those other “fashion dolls”! She really has no interest in the online component of the doll, so I am not rating that.

My daughter just recieved this doll yesterday, as a gift. We are impressed with the life-like features (i.e. silky hair, multiple poses/joints, and realistic eyes). The overall construction and durability of the doll seems very nice. Our only complaint is that her eyeglasses are too wide and don’t really fit or stay on her face as in the images. They will, however, fit on top of her head. It was also nice to see a new trendy doll that is in good taste. We too, are disappointed with the website, particularly after registering and attempting to log on multiple times to no avail. We hope to see this resolved, and also hope to see more accessories come out in the future for the dolls, to bring it to life.

Unlike the last reviewer, we’re rating the doll and not the website. My 7 year old daughter has finally found a doll that she will actually play with and take care of. She is tomboy and has been brutal to previous dolls, and some of them I was sad to see go. I am hoping she will enjoy this one for a long while and will want the other Liv dolls as they are all beautiful. As for the website, she hasn’t been on it yet, but after today, we’ll see…..
